Parents
Fixed on your drive, not on a Saturday trip into town
School phones get dropped. That is not going to change, and it is not worth a Saturday morning in Ipswich to sort out.

The problem
Why the usual way does not work
The realistic alternative to a doorstep repair is loading everyone into the car, driving into town, finding somewhere to park, and then doing it all again a few hours later to collect the phone. For a thirty-five minute job that is a genuinely bad trade.
It also means a child is without a phone for the day, which for most families is the actual problem — not the crack.
What we do about it
How it works for parents
- We come when the children are in
- Early mornings, late evenings and weekends, so nobody has to be anywhere. Most repairs are done in the van outside while tea is happening.
- It is done in front of you
- The phone never leaves the room, and we never need a passcode for a screen or a battery. Nothing is accessed and nothing goes away with us.
- We will tell you when it is not worth it
- If an old handset is going to cost more to repair than it is worth, we say so and point you at a sensible second-hand replacement instead. No fix, no fee, either way.
- Old phones are usually worth keeping
- A three-year-old handset that dies by lunchtime almost always just needs a battery. Half an hour and a small fraction of the cost of replacing it.
