What causes it
Why this happens
- The toilet, the sink, the bath
- Far and away the most common. Clean water is the best case, but it still carries minerals that leave a conductive residue behind as it dries.
- Drinks
- Worse than water. Sugar and acid attack the board directly and leave a sticky film that keeps conducting long after the liquid has gone.
- Sea water at Felixstowe
